Lana Ballot
Lana Ballot is a contemporary American artist, drawing her inspiration from the coastal landscape. She is known for her paintings of seascapes and ocean dunes. Soft pastel is Lana’s preferred medium allowing her to capture the beautiful light and textures of the ocean and the coastline.
Expressive use of color and painterly mark making are characteristic of Lana’s style.
Lana has been exhibiting and won awards in National and International Juried competitions, including the Pastel Society of America’s annual show Enduring Brilliance and the prestigious Pastel Journal’s Pastel 100 competition.
